Dear Friends,
There’s a story behind everything I’m creating right now.
Some of it you’ll see in my upcoming art show, Lost Girl No More.
It’s a collection of pieces that reflect a journey—from feeling unseen, unheard, and unsure… to rediscovering voice, identity, and wholeness.
But this isn’t just about me.
It’s about something I’ve come to understand after more than 30 years of working with children and families:
So many kids are quietly carrying feelings they don’t yet have the words for.
And the question we adults who love them ask is: “How do I help?”
That question is why I created Love In A Big World.
It’s a simple, meaningful way to help kids:
Express what they’re feeling
Build confidence
Strengthen connection with the people around them
Through a Curriculum Guide and companion Journals, we create space for conversations that might not happen otherwise.
In many ways, Lost Girl No More and Love In A Big World are deeply connected.
One tells the story of finding my voice. The other is about helping the next generation find theirs sooner.
If you’re local, I would love for you to experience the art show in person. It’s going to be a moving experience, and it would mean a lot to have you there.
And wherever you are, if this message resonates with you, whether as a parent, educator, or someone who simply cares about kids, I invite you to explore Love In A Big World.
Because when a child feels seen and heard… everything begins to change.
With gratitude,
Tamara
